I recently tied the knot in the colorful, colonial & mountainous town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico! Although this was my third visit to this utterly romantic town, the intense colors, stunning details and beautiful textures continue to impress & inspire me–as if I was seeing it all for the first time:

We are smitten with the way our favorite blogger, Betty, has styled her Riders by doubling them up! I can’t wait to try this myself!

A few months ago, my dear friend Lauren Kolodny (stylist and fashionista) returned from her many trips to Spain and brought back countless treasures, including incredible dresses and accessories from Spanish designer Sita Murt. She recently sent me images from Sita Murt’s Spring 2010 Collection from Madrid Fashion Week, which left me feeling tortured by the fact that we can only find these pieces in Spain. A trip to Espana anytime soon, Lauren?

Though Fall isn’t officially upon us, Labor Day always seems to signify the last days of summer. Tamar and I packed up the car with friends and headed north to one of my favorite places – the south fork of the Yuba River! Here are some shots from our back country adventure:

Hiking to the river with plenty of water and smiles!

Words can’t begin to describe the beauty of this place.

Yipee!!

Came back from the river to pick perfectly ripe peaches. Aren’t they gorgeous? We dried a few, ate a few and made peach margaritas with the rest!

Our #1 Bandits fan, Rio, wanted to try out her favorite pair: Sundays!

Though it was sad to leave after such a fun filled weekend, we’re looking forward to Fall and especially eager for boot and Bandit season!!

I just got back from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and was inspired by all the bright buildings and beautiful contrasting doors, lining the hilly cobblestone streets! I LOVE MEXICO!
